Pilates Training
Pilates is a mind-body exercise program that focuses on improving flexibility and stability by strengthening the muscles, especially the torso-stabilizing muscles of the abdomen and lower back to build core strength and stability, improve posture and alignment, increase flexibility, balance, and coordination, and relieve stress and back pain.
In Pilates Matwork, we focus on building core strength and stability, at times bringing in small props to add variety and challenge. However, getting started is easy; all you need is an exercise mat and yourself! We offer Pilates Matwork training in-person or online, in private, semi-private, and small group training sessions.
In Pilates Reformer training we use spring resistance on specially designed equipment to improve strength and flexibility, posture, and body awareness. Our Reformer training classes are only available as private and semi-private classes and only at the Atkinson location.
Online Community Classes
If you would love to take a group fitness class but don’t have the time to go to the gym, our online community classes may be just what you need.
From the comfort of your home, engage in Hatha Yoga, Pilates Matwork or Strength Training, to experience all that cross-training has to offer. Develop strength, flexibility, bodily relaxation, and mental concentration to be your best self. I will coach you through your program and keep track of your process.
